Further to the recent meeting of the APPG on ME held on Tuesday 15 January 2013, which focused on Welfare, Chair Annette Brooke MP has invited officers of the APPG to meet with Mr Jerry Ashworth (Atos) and Dr James Bolton (DWP) on 26th February at 3pm.
The discussion will focus on issues with the Work Capability Assessment for people with ME. The minutes of the meeting are now available, along with a supporting document.
As reported previously, on Wednesday 4 July 2012, a meeting of the APPG, which was to focus on the severely affected, regrettably had to be postponed. However, the Group remain committed to this issue and have rescheduled the meeting for
Wednesday 13 March, 2.30pm, Room O, Portcullis House, Westminster.
