Elizabeth Evans to stage her annual companion dog show in Bradford | 7 July 2012

July 4, 2012

One of the MEA's most staunch supporters, Elizabeth Evans, will be staging her annual Companion Dog Show at Foster Park, Denholme, Bradford, on Saturday (July 7).

Miss Evans, a well-known championship dog and cat breeder, has used the event to raise thousands of pounds for the MEA over the years. She also divides the proceeds with other causes – this year, they are cancer charity Community Macmillan Nurses and Bradford's Palliative Care Team.

On Saturday, entries will be taken from 11am and judging begins at 12 noon.

Six pedigree classes followed by Best in Show Pedigree; four companion dog club classes followed by Best Companion Dog in Show; other classes include two for ‘cross-breeds’, as well as Veteran/Vintage, Rescue, handling and ‘fun’ classes, including fancy dress.
