We offer a part-time, community-based service to adults (18 years +) who have a confirmed diagnosis of CFS/ME. Referrals are accepted from agreed Consultants or General Practitioners.
The service adopts a ‘person centred’, holistic approach and works collaboratively with other agencies as required. It is made up of a multidisciplinary team, with a range of skills and backgrounds; this includes Occupational Therapy and Clinical Psychology. Intervention can involve 1:1 sessions and/or group work, with an emphasis on self-management and peer support. We also offer an on-going Recovery and Management group for those who have been discharged from the service.
The service is countywide, with clinics being held throughout Worcestershire, however group work is solely Worcester-based at present. We are not able to offer home visits.
