Internationally recognised NHS service providing assessment and evidence-based treatment for chronic fatigue syndrome and persistent physical symptoms. We see adults of any age and adolescents aged 11-18 years, including severely affected.
We also see people with a range of conditions including: chronic physical symptoms/disability in long term conditions; fibromyalgia; IBS; non-cardiac chest pain; dysfunctional breathing; chronic pain.
We offer:

• Expert assessments with positive explanations and clinical recommendations
• Our main interventions are Cognitive Behaviour Therapy & Activity Management
• Family-focused CBT for adolescents
• Home-based and telephone treatment for people who are not able to attend the unit

We accept referrals from South London, surrounding areas and national referrals.
The MEA are awaiting a response from the service regarding updating their website to include NICE NG206 guidance and a statement on PEM/PENE/PESE – 5/11/25
