Internationally recognised NHS service providing assessment and evidence-based treatment for chronic fatigue syndrome and persistent physical symptoms. We see adults of any age and adolescents aged 11-18 years, including severely affected.
We also see people with a range of conditions including: chronic physical symptoms/disability in long term conditions; fibromyalgia; IBS; non-cardiac chest pain; dysfunctional breathing; chronic pain.
We offer expert assessments and clinical recommendations, cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), graded exercise therapy, family-focused CBT for adolescents, and, home-based and telephone treatment for people who are not able to attend the unit. (Home-based service is London area only).
We accept referrals from across the UK, from any health professional. Preferred referral method is via letter. All referrals need to be funded by the CCG.
