Asked to be referred as I was desperate for support. Unfortunately I didn't find support. They treated it as depression / tired all the time and definitely saw it as psychological. I felt they didn't actually understand fatigue! I got worse following their advice eg gradually increase activity. This was recently, since GET isn't recommend. I felt blamed and patronised, like a naughty school kid.
If I could leave zero stars I would. Absolutely dreadful service, based on the premise that the illness is entirely psychological. A very upsetting experience which I don’t care to repeat.
I was referred to this service in 2010 - didn't find the course I attended it very helpful and have just been left to manage on my own ever since with no follow up or further support.
