New Care Act comes into force today, and we have a leaflet to explain how it might affect people with ME/CFS | 1 April 2015

The way Social Services support reaches people with ME/CFS could change from today (April 1) – when the provisions of the Care Act 2014 came into force.

Cathy Stillman-Lowe, our expert on the subject, has written a new leaflet for us and she reckons that – if the law works as it is intended – it could turn the business of obtaining support from your local council into quite a liberating experience.

At the very least, you should know about the changes in order to keep your council up to the mark.

The leaflet is available now from our online shop at www.meassociation.org.uk/shop/benefits-leaflets/help-social-services/
