The ME Association will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 12 January 2026 at 2:00 pm. Members of the charity are invited to attend either in person at the Head Office or via an online video conference link.
If you wish to attend in person, please confirm by emailing admin@meassociation.org.uk with the subject line “Attending the AGM”, or by posting the response form included in the Winter edition of ME Essential magazine. To express an interest joining online, please complete the form provided (see the banner below). Confirmations must be received no later than 5 January 2026. Full details on how to attend will be sent to all registered participants. Please note that we will be unable to accept attendance requests received after this deadline.
The results of the Vote for Trustees will be announced during the meeting. The voting paper is included in the Winter edition of ME Essential magazine. Completed voting papers must be received no later than 20 December 2025 and may be returned by post or by email (scanned copy) to admin@meassociation.org.uk, using the subject line “Trustee Elections”.
Statements from the co-opted trustee and from those current trustees required to stand down and seeking re-election are also included in the Winter edition.
If you wish to submit questions for the AGM, these must be received by 5 January 2026 to allow the charity sufficient time to prepare full responses. Questions may be submitted by post to the Gawcott office or by email to admin@meassociation.org.uk. Additional questions may also be taken at the AGM at the Chairman’s discretion.
In accordance with the charity’s Articles of Association and Company Law, the following documents will be made available to members ahead of the AGM:
- Agenda of the AGM
- Minutes of the previous AGM
- Financial Statements
- Directors’ Report
- Details of any resolutions not provided for on the Voting Paper
These documents will be available on the charity’s website prior to the meeting.
