Devon ME/CFS Carers’ Group meets every two months in Exeter.  We have a drop in session 10.30 – 12.30 at Central Library foyer on the second Saturday in March, July and November.  A less public meeting is held at the same time on the second Saturday in January, May and September at Pinhoe Road Baptist Church EX4 7HZ  

Caring for someone with ME/CFS Long Covid requires adaptability, steadfast patience and commitment over many years, if not a lifetime.  In Devon, carers become managers of housing, employment or education, welfare benefits and ergonomics, as well as physical health, mental health and community (known as social) care.  For many of us this makes holding on to our own wellbeing a serious challenge, leaving us sometimes feeling as isolated and as much in need of support as the person diagnosed.  Devon ME/CFS Long Covid Carers Support Group offers this support.
A warm welcome, a compassionate sense of humour and full understanding of the seriousness of the disease, to carers of all ages — from local people who know from experience the difficulties and the best ways of navigating them.
