From me to you - Steve receives his hamper

It’s beginning to look a lot more like Christmas – as our carers receive their hampers!

Steve Prescott has received his hamper. And this weekend we've been receiving lots more photos of other unpaid carers who've opened their front doors to the postie and been greeted with this surprise.

Steve, who cares for his wife Andrya at their home in Leyland, Lancashire, wrote:

“I didn't expect anything for looking after Andrya – it's just something you do.

“The hamper is a lovely treat.  A big thank you to the ME Association!”

The couple have been married for 22 years.

Andrya welled up as she wrote:  “Thank you, you lovely people!'

Andrya became ill with a devastating brain injury in August 2019 and her ME was diagnosed the following year – just before Covid swept round the world.

The ME Association has 39 of our 100 Christmas hampers still left to give away at random in our first-ever ‘From M.E. to You” promotion.

Please don’t stop making nominations. We’ve received 180 so far so there’s a very good chance your nominee could receive one.

To make a nomination, please follow this link

To nominate you must be a member of the ME Association, or nominating someone who is a member. And the person you nominate must live in the UK.
