The ME/CFS Alliance are marking their 20th Anniversary with a symposium at Winchester Cathedral on the 4th March, 2026.
The ME Association has contributed towards funding for the symposium, and Nicki Strong, MEA Associate Trustee, will be attending. The event is named ‘Stronger Together' and is set to include talks from the following researchers:
- Prof. Sir Stephen Holgate – Professor of Immunopharmacology, University of Southampton
- Prof. Chris Ponting – Chair of Medical Bioinformatics, University of Edinburgh
- Prof. Danny Altmann – Professor of Immunology, Imperial College London
- Prof. Nisreen Alwen – Professor of Public Health, University of Southampton
- Prof. W. Ian Lipkin – Microbiologist, Epidemiologist and Pathologist at Columbia University
- Dr. Steve Gardner – CEO, Precision Life
- Krystyna Taylor – Researcher, Precision Life
- Dr Karl Morten – Principal Investigator in Causal Factors in ME/CFS, Oxford University
- Dr Nancy Klimas – Director of Neuro Immune Medicine and Clinical Research, Miami
- Dr Rob Wust – Presenting his research on muscle and mitochondria, Netherlands
- Dr Carmen Scheibenbogen – Immunologist at University of Berlin
