It is with sadness that we report the death of Graham McPhee. He was a wonderful man with a terrific sense of humour and a committed advocate for the ME/CFS community.
As a retired math teacher, Graham used his knowledge to explain the shortcomings of the controversial PACE Trial with a series of animated videos and through his own Facebook page (posting as ME Analysis).
He was an active member of Science 4 ME Forums and was working with Dr Charles Shepherd and others to create a dedicated website of medical education material for healthcare professionals.
Since last year, Graham had spent a lot of time in hospital being treated for sepsis that was initially caused by an abscess on his liver. The ME Association would like to express heartfelt condolences and Dr Shepherd has been in touch with his family.
Graham was an inspiration to many and will be greatly missed.
