The Mansfield & Ashfield FMS & ME Support Group was set up in 2005 for people with these conditions. We are primarily a social group, a safe haven where you can come and have a chat with others like yourself, make friends and reduce the feelings of fear, stress and isolation.

We go on small outings every other month, suitable for those with fatigue illnesses, these trips are subsidised for members. We also have a ‘Sleeping Members Network Support' provision for those Members who are housebound or can't attend all meetings either by text, e-mail or phone call. Our Group also access Kings Mill Hydrotherapy Pool once a week.

• Morning Meetings: are held on first and third Wednesday of each month, 10.30am – 12.30pm at Mansfield Museum (next door to Mansfield Palace Theatre), Leeming Street, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire NG18 1NG. The venue is fully accessible with all amenities, meetings are held on the ground floor.
• Subscription: £2.50 per meeting towards room costs and refreshment costs (there is no charge for your first visit). Annual Membership is £7.50 for Single Membership and £12.50 for Joint Membership.
• Evening meetings: from April to September (while it is light at night), on the second Tuesday of those months from 6pm – 7.30 pm. We meet at: The Old Meeting House, Old Meeting House Yard, Walkden Street, Mansfield NG18 1QR.
