Jo Cambridge, Professor of Immunology at University College London, has sadly passed away. Her obituary has been shared in The Guardian, and Dr Charles Shepherd, MEA Hon Medical Adviser who worked with her via the ME/CFS Biobank, has shared a comment below.

This is very sad news about the death of Jo Cambridge – Professor of Immunology at University College London.
As her obituary in The Guardian states, Professor Cambridge was involved in research into immune system dysfunction and the role of B cells in ME/CFS.
She was also very involved with the work of the ME/CFS Biobank. In fact, she was still working on one research project until very recently.
She will be very much missed by her colleagues.
Not only for the very conscientious way in which she carried out her work, but also for being just a very nice kind person.
