There are a number of other health conditions that are widely accepted to be quite common in people who have ME/CFS. These include allergies, fibromyalgia, irritable bowel syndrome, and migraine-type headaches.
There are also a number of conditions that appear to be more common but where the evidence is less robust. These include endometriosis, interstitial cystitis and overactive bladder, mast cell activation syndrome and Temperomandibular Joint Dysfunction.
The aim of this website survey is to obtain a better understanding of which other health conditions conditions really are more likely if you have ME/CFS and whether their presence gives any clues to the underlying cause and treatment of ME/CFS.
The ME Association has detailed information covering:
- Fibromyalgia
- Headaches, including migraine type headaches
- Interstitial cystitis
- Irritable bowel syndrome
