This year we're raising money to power up a campaign called ‘Mending the Medical Mindset on M.E.‘
This will help us scale up existing work which is giving GPs and other healthcare professionals the tools to help them make better decisions when they care for patients with ME/CFS.
Until midday next Tuesday (8th December), we ask you to visit our Big Give Christmas Challenge page and make a donation.
Your donation will be doubled until all the matched funding has been used up. MEA supporters, The Reed Foundation and Candis magazine have already pledged a total of £11,250 for the matched funding pot.
Together, we could be raising £22,500 for our campaign (and then some because the giving needn't stop until the noon day clock chimes on the 8th)!
Our learning materials need to be read by doctors and other healthcare professionals and – when patients actually get back into the waiting rooms – we want them to see our magazines and posters. The extra money will also improve our ability to reach out in other ways to the medical profession.
This year's MEA Big Give Christmas Challenge is now underway and firing people's imaginations through the M.E. community.

Remember! For one week only, from noon on Tuesday 1 December to noon on Tuesday 8 December, your donation to us will be doubled.
For your donation to be doubled, you must donate through our fundraising page on the Big Give website. or Google ‘Big Give, Medical Mindset'.
If you're a supporter who has already put money into the matched-funding pot, please do NOT donate to the campaign at this stage. If you do, the rules state that your donation will be refunded.
We will link to the page daily on all our channels until 8th December. Donations through any other platform (Facebook, Just Giving, Virgin Money Giving, our website, etc) will not be doubled.
