We await feedback from members of a working group within Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, and West Berkshire (BOB) regarding our Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Long COVID (LC) care provision survey. This survey will soon be available to patients and carers living within the BOB region, providing them with a valuable opportunity to share their personal experiences of care and to voice their thoughts on how services can be improved in the future.
We are currently gathering patient feedback, which will be reviewed by key stakeholders within the BOB Integrated Care Board (ICB). This is a timely opportunity to influence the future direction of care for individuals living with ME/CFS/LC within the BOB region, with the potential to shape the direction of national efforts undertaken by the Health and Social Care (HASC) team in the future.
If you are a patient or carer residing in BOB, we encourage you to share your experiences and provide your input on improving services. There are several ways to give feedback:
- Email: You can share your experience of local care provision by emailing us at health@meassociation.org.uk
- Submit a service review: we encourage patients to make use of the HASC service review function to give feedback on ME/CFS and LC services
- Working Group: We also invite patients and carers to register and join our working group to actively contribute to the development of services [sign up here].
Your feedback is essential in helping shape better care and services for those living with ME/CFS/LC in the BOB region.
