About our service

We provide a rehabilitation service that offers a range of professional skills and self-management resources to help you to manage your symptoms and deal with the specific issues you are facing.

ME/CFS and LC affect the whole person, including physical symptoms, emotional wellbeing, the ability to function in employment, education, at home and relationships with friends and family. For this reason, we work as a multi-disciplinary team using a holistic approach, and aim to work closely with other services to offer joined up care.

The Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) includes:

• A GP
• Occupational Therapists
• Physiotherapist
• Psychologists
• Therapy Assistant
• Administrators

Our staff will carry out a more in-depth assessment of your symptoms and the impact these have on your life. This will be carried out either online, over the phone or – where clinically indicated or preferred – face to face. Further recommendations for advice or treatment will be provided and if appropriate, you may also receive further specialist multidisciplinary support. This may include a virtual group or 1:1 support.
