I will be at a House of Lords meeting with the Countess of Mar on next Tuesday (Octoberr 25) where there will be a representative from CAPITA attending to give a presentation and answer questions about the medical assessments they carry out for Personal Independence Payments (PIP) on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
If you have any comments or questions – positive or negative – that are relevant to a DWP medical assessment that has been carried out by a CAPITA health professional that could be made use of in this meeting please post them here, or to me via: admin@meassociation.org.uk
I will need them by 9pm next Monday (October 24) 9pm at the latest.

I have applied for P I P and I was however refused just two weeks ago . However when I went to the fit for work appointment 6 weeks ago and I did succeed and was placed on ESA in the support group indefinite .i have a life threatening medical condition called KLIPPEL TRENAUNEY WEBER SYNDROME. This affects my mobility of getting about because of the CONSTANT pain I endure EVERY DAY AND EVERY NIGHT
P I P did NOT score me ANY points on both components and so therefore I am challenging their decision through CAB . It is EXTREMELY difficult to achieve PIP despite I’m struggling to get about
