There are still a few places left for Professor Ian Lipkin’s seminar in London next month.
The event is being hosted by the ME Association and Action for ME.
Professor Lipkin, based at Columbia University in New York, is an infectious disease specialist and has been described by Discover magazine as the world’s foremost virus hunter. As part of his work on ME/CFS he is currently planning a $1.13 million microbiome study to investigate the role of immune activation in ME/CFS – though funding for this is yet to be confirmed.
This event will take place Wednesday 3 September, 10am to noon, Allen and Overy, 1 Bishops Square, London E1 6AD (pictured).
Tickets cost £5 and can be booked by calling the Action for ME office on 0117 927 9551.
Professor Lipkin is visiting the UK to attend the UK ME/CFS Research Collaborative conference in Bristol earlier that week.
