Ozzy, the family bulldog, gets in on the fundraising act | 11 June 2013

Ozzy for the website

The Moran family – headed by James and Maureen, from Peterhead in Aberdeenshire – have been one of our biggest supporters of recent years, raising thousands of pounds for the charity.

Now family pet, Ozzy, has got in on the act.

The one-year-old bulldog owned by their son, James Jnr, enjoyed a sponsored romp along the seashore at Aberdeen and raised another £50 for the ME Association.

“For fun, we got some of friends and colleagues to sponsor Ozzy's walk”, said oil rig contractor James Snr today.

And the couple have just banked a further £803 in our account – raised through the sale of confectionery bouquets by Maureen, who is an accomplished sugarcraft worker.

CHIN REST

Ozzy is resting his chin on our loose change collecting box. This is sent out free to anybody who thinks it might be useful. If you could do with one (or more), please email our office at administration@meassociation.org.uk with your full name and home address.
