Over a million page views have now been counted at this website – since we switched on the counter on 11 June last year following a major makeover.
We passed the 1,000,000 mark shortly after 6pm this evening. The pages were read by over 317,800 visitors.
A lot of the traffic in the last nine months came from Google searches (195,356 visits), use of ‘favourites' or ‘bookmarks' on people's browsers (42,689) and Facebook referrals (12,422). Bing – Microscroft's own search engine – and Yahoo searches also performed well.
Nice one Tony. Cracked the champers? Congratulations – good result and a credit to the new service.
I’m not surprised, it’s a truly excellent resource, one for which i am very grateful.
it’s great for those of us who want to keep up with whats going on but are not well enough to go trawling through stuff.
I also find the MEA’s commentary on things measured and sensible.
thanks to you all
I echo above, your site is a gem, thank you, but you still need time stamps on your comments!
