We were delighted to smash through the target for our Christmas Appeal 20 hours ahead of time yesterday – with the magnificent support of over 200 generous donors.
You raised £41,593 to pay for more biomedical research into this horrible illness.
We'll shortly be announcing our plans about how we are going to spend it.
In the meantime, this evening, we shall be asking people who pledged money to the Christmas Appeal to fulfil their promises. It was they who made it possible for supporters to ‘Double their Donations' during the week-long public appeal which closed at midday yesterday.
