We’ve had walkers, runners and mobility scooter drivers, swimmers, and cyclists.
Some have sung and performed; some have held tea parties; or pyjama days; or sent soft toys to places they could only dream of.
We’ve had handicrafts (jewellery, art, and crochet), makeovers, and stalls.
Some have done the ice bucket challenge; taken part in zumbathons or spinathons; gone without sugar, or alcohol; or have even bravely tried to give up swearing.
And then, to cap it all, our inaugural Auction of Promises also raised over £1700.
We’ve had mothers, daughters, husbands, wives, nephews, and sons of ME sufferers doing what they could to show their support of other family members. We’ve had people with and recovered from ME too. Each doing what they could – for The ME Association.
Thank you to you all for your splendid efforts to raise much needed funds for, and awareness of, The ME Association.
It has been a joy to work with you all.
