The Dutch ME/CFS group, ME/CVS Vereniging, continue to astound with their series of short and well-targeted educational films about the illness for which they have received a grant from the government of The Netherlands. They have 52 under their belt at the moment – with more in the pipeline.

In this latest one – the third featuring Chicago-based professor of psychology, Leonard Jason – Professor Jason continues to talk about criteria and diagnosis.

He discusses what he thinks might cause ME, the stigma associated with ME (saying patients are like the lepers of the 21st century), how he himself is diagnosing ME and the DePaul Questionnaire which he and his team developed to facilitate diagnosing ME.

Professor Jason will be making himself available for another web-based discussion about his three videos on Friday, September 26.

This discussion will take place between 5 and 5.45pm Central European Time) which works out between 4 and 4.45pm if your clock is set to British Summer Time.

The discussion can be viewed HERE. The window will be open about 10 minutes before transmission starts.

If you have any questions about the video that you would like to put to Professor Jason, please email them in advance to wvp@me-cvsvereniging.nl or put them in person during the Question and Answer session.
