Within these pages lies a wealth of recipes specifically written for people with ME/CFS, their family, friends and carers. At last you and/or your carer can enjoy time in your kitchen and plan balanced meals that will make you feel good about what you put in your body. It features recipes by Healthy Living James and contributions from others with ME/CFS, together with nutritional notes by Sue Luscombe, the ME Association’s Hon. Diet & Health Adviser.
“Congratulations to all the team who produced the Cookbook. It’s really impressive – the recipes all look inviting and the presentation is very clear and will make the recipes easy to follow. The hardback cover means the book will not flop. All the tips and comments from Sue Luscombe are very useful. What a success!”
All the recipes are colour-coded for ease of preparation, we feature meat-based and fish options, vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free alternatives, and plenty of shortcut tips to help cut down your kitchen time. Who says you can’t have great food without hours slaving over the hot stove? Not us. We reckon you can, after all, have your cake and eat it!
The ME Association telephone helpline – ME Connect – is available every day of the year, during the hours of 10am-12noon, 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm. Please phone: 0344 576 5326 if you have any questions or would simply like to talk to someone who is there to listen.
