Diet – Healthy Diet in ME/CFS

In this leaflet, the ME Association's diet and nutrition advisers examine the role of what we eat and how it can help our health when suffering with ME/CFS. They also suggest ways we could improve what we eat and how we eat it.

Sue Luscombe (Diet and Nutrition Adviser to the ME Association) and Nutritionist Dr Michelle Dobrota-Gibbs look at the role of diet in maintaining the best possible health when suffering with ME/CFS, and suggest ways you could improve the way and what you eat.

The leaflet explores current evidence about diet and healthy eating in relation to ME/CFS and the myths around them. It also considers food links with symptoms, such as energy fluctuations, feeling sick (nausea), other gut symptoms, unwanted weight changes, caffeine, alcohol intolerance and orthostatic intolerance.
