Blue Badge Scheme – An Introduction

Description

This is a scheme that provides a range of parking concessions for people with disabilities throughout the UK – but many local authorities exercise their own discretion about how it is implemented.

At the end of August 2019, the criteria for eligibility were extended to people with ‘hidden disabilities’.  This should make it easier for people with M.E. to complete successful applications, but we don’t yet know how this extension is working out in practice.
