New survey: what do you want when you call a helpline?

The Telephone Helplines Association – to which the ME Association belongs – has launched a survey to help inform its future work.

The Association has a Quality Standard which is a thorough check against a comprehensive list of criteria to see if a helpline is providing the best possible service.

They are currently developing a new version of the Standard and they want to make sure they include the things that are particularly important to you, the helpline user.

They have an online survey that allows you to tell them what’s most important to you when contacting a helpline. It’s very brief (only five questions) and it’s totally anonymous. They won’t ask for your name.

Please help improve helpline services – visit the survey at Thank you!

The results will be published early next year.
