Annette Brooke MP, one of the more active supporters of the ME cause in the House of Commons, asked a written question about the controversial training programme called the Lightning Process yesterday (11 October 2010).
Ms Brooke, Liberal Democrat MP for Mid Dorset and North Poole, asked the Secretary of State for Health what representations he had received on the research and development of the Phil Parker Lightning Process.
Answering, Minister of State for Care Services Paul Burstow (Lib Dem MP for Sutton and Cheam), said:
The Department has received representations, from individual members of the public and on behalf of chronic of chronic fatigue syndrome/myalgic encephalomyelitis stakeholder groups, on research proposals associated with the Lightning Process.
Mr Burstow gave no more information.
He should be PRESSED for more information!
