ME on BBC Radio Leicester this morning (Tuesday, May 19)

There was a 12-minute discussion about ME on BBC Radio Leicester this morning – when Julie Clarkson, who was diagnosed with ME 20 years ago after years of ill-health, spoke to Tony Wadsworth  about how the illness has affected her life. Dr Charles Shepherd, medical adviser to The ME Association, joined in on the phone.

Julie praised the support she has been receiving from the NHS in recent years – after her GP had referred her to Dr Vinod Patel, the ME/CFS specialist at the George Eliot Hospital in Nuneaton.
