‘Claire’s Story’ – a blast from the not-so-distant past

A Canadian website has rediscovered "Claire’s Story" –  a film lasting almost eight minutes which was first broadcast as part of the "Inside Out" series by BBC East of England some years ago. The film was made by the BBC after The ME Association’s publicity manager put them in touch with Jane Colby of the Young ME Sufferers Trust, who knew Claire and her family.

The ME/FM Society of Alberta put the film up on their website last Friday (August 15) – after someone found it lurking in the huge archive at YouTube.

Miriam Potter, public relations officer with the Reading Area ME Support Group in England, spotted it when the ‘Google Alert’ system delivered it to her emailbox this morning. "This is really good… well worth watching", she told the ME Association.
