Workers on an oil platform 130 miles north east from Aberdeen in the North Sea have produced some black gold – especially for The ME Association!
A race night on board the AH 001 platform (pictured) – organised by Peterhead man Jim Moran – raised a fabulous sum of £520 for this charity. Three of his race night partners are pictured handing over their hard-earned cash.
Jim, who has family connections with ME, is a long-standing supporter of The ME Association.
So is his grandaughter Natalie. Last year, Natalie raised another £350 for us through fundraising activities at her school in Peterhead and at home – as well as selling loads of MEA wristbands to her friends.
