Care in the Community, BBC Radio 4, Thursday 31 January

BBC Radio 4 ‘You and Yours’ series on Care in the Community – final programme on 31 January.

The last programme in this series on Thursday 31 January concludes with a live studio audience question and answer session involving government Care Minister Ivan Lewis.

In the past few days BBC news has been highlighting some of the key issues covered in the series, in particular the ‘postcode inequalities’ that are now occurring in relation to provision of care in the community and the fact that some disabled people are now having their care packages either reduced or removed by local authorities who are desperate to save money.

Tickets for the final programme (in London W1) may still be available by phoning the BBC on: 0870 9011227 (8p per minute from a BT landline).
